HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS
ST. TIMOTHY’S SCHOOL ON GREENSPRING AVE
HELD DECEMBER 27TH AND 28TH 2008
On December 27th and 28th Hoop Mountain Metro Atlantic Girls and Buchanan Boot Camp Basketball held their annual Middle School Holiday Tournament at the St Timothy’s School on Greenspring Ave. Six teams participated and took part in the exciting competition. The following teams competed:
Savage
Baltimore Starz
Freedom
WHC Comets
Blue Angels
Arbutus
It was a great couple of days that allowed the young players to work on their skills in a structured competitive environment. We even devoted time to a shooting clinic during the event. Each game was highly contested and the effort and intensity was tremendous regardless of the outcomes. The spectators of families and friends all seemed to enjoy the competition evidenced by the noise level in the gym.
Most important the girls got in great work and at the end of the day lots of smiles were seen leaving the gym.
