You can expect professionally run camps and events held at top notch facilities and run by an excellent staff, which will help players in attaining their goals of playing at the next level. Every Hoop Mountain Mid Atlantic event and camp guarantees maximum exposure, elite competition, and quality instruction.
We assist student-athletes year-round to meet their athletic and academic goals. Our program consists of Spring and Fall College Exposure Showcases, Individual Instruction, Super Week Exposure Camps, AAU Team and Tournaments, High School Tournaments and Events, and College Consulting Services.
Hoop Mountain has relationships with hundreds of college basketball coaches at all levels from around the country. College staffs who have recently attended our events range from elite programs such as North Carolina and UConn to the Ivy League’s UPenn and Princeton, as well as many of the most successful Division II, III, NAIA, and JUCO programs from around the country.
We welcome boys in grades 9-12 who are looking to gain exposure, instruction, and competition that will make them successful at the next level.
How many kids attend camp?
We limit the number of participants to allow for more specialized, individualized and small group instruction. Each Super Week is limited to 200 players and each Spring Exposure Classic is limited to 125 players. This allows us to maintain a low camper-to-coach ratio to maintain an effective learning experience.
Approximately 10 to 1.
Lodging (air-conditioned facilities), 3 buffet-style meals daily, 1 camp jersey for each camp session, accident and injury insurance, all camp activities and transportation to and from the local airport or bus station, if needed. Additionally, individual and team awards will be given.
It is strongly encouraged to register early as all Hoop Mountain Mid Atlantic events will sell out. A deposit is due for Super Week at the time an application is done online or mailed and will secure a spot for camp. Camp balance is due 10 days before camp begins. A parent may pay by check, money order or credit card.
Yes, we will honor all roommate requests, if indicated on the camp application.
For Super Week: Five T-shirts, three pairs of shorts, five pairs of socks, five sets of underwear, pillow, pillowcase, bed sheet and a blanket, washcloths and towels, soap and toiletries, money for snacks, phone card and an alarm clock.
Use your own judgment. Most campers deposit $20-$50. There will be a snack bar and Tee shirts for sale. Also, many campers like to order Pizza at night. For the campers protection, campers must leave all cash secured with the office and arrange a "charge account" for all items purchased.
Hoop Mountain Mid Atlantic is committed to providing top-notch speakers and guests at our camps and events. As a rule, we don't publicize their names as scheduling conflicts may prevent their attendance. Past speakers have included NBA and College players and coaches, as well as many other influential people in the basketball industry.
